HiWi Job / Development of cyclisation protocols for peptides using automated chemical microfluidics
Vertragsdauer: 3 Monate (30 – 50 hours/ months, flexible), Entry date: 15.06.2024/ flexible
Skill: Basic skill in the chemistry, preferable organic chemistry
Field of study: biochemistry, chemistry, chemical engineering
You will work with a unique chemical machine that allows you to cyclize more than 200,000 peptides in parallel. Your tasks: based on cyclization protocols known or found in the literature, in contact with programmers, translate them into language machines; plan experiments on a cyclization machine; compare the results with those performed manually using the same protocols. As a result, you will get a unique opportunity to automate chemical reactions, carry them out in microfluidic form, and cooperate with programmers. If successful, Masterwork is offered with more exciting applications, including the development of diagnostic chips.
