Beschreibung
Advances in artificial intelligence and robotics are rapidly transforming how autonomous systems perceive, navigate, and interact with the world. These advances enable robots, e.g. walking robots, to perform complex tasks in challenging environments, by using sensor data for tasks such as path planning and navigation.Walking robots use a number of different sensor modalities, e.g. Video and Lidar, typically in the form of images and 3D point clouds. This sensor data is used to perceive and navigate through the environment. To achieve this, data of different sensors has to be combined using sensor fusion to create a map of the environment. The key research question is how sensor data and environmental maps can be enriched with semantic information to enhance the intelligent navigation capabilities of walking robots across diverse environments.Your Tasks and Research Challenges- Literature research on state of the art
