ITAS 01-2023 Bachelor/Master thesis: Interactive tool for Real-time Preference elicitation in the context of energy technologies

• Conduct a literature review on the state-of-the-art of (real-time) preference elicitation methods/tools.
• Development of a web-based interface to conduct real-time preference elicitation
• Coupling of the interface with “MCDA KIT tool”
• Exemplary application of the web-based interface for preference elicitation for an existing use case in the field of energy technologies.

The results of the thesis are to be used in the project: "Multicriteria decision support for the sustainability assessment of energy technologies".

Persönliche Qualifikation

• Studying at KIT (Bachelor or Master) in a relevant field (e.g. industrial engineering, business informatics or computer science)
• Profound skills in Java programming
• Skills in website development (Java)
• Knowledge in Multi Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) is desirable
