Two Physicists (f/m/d)

You will be responsible for

• the growth of single crystals of quantum materials and their characterization using thermodynamic, transport and x-ray diffraction techniques,
• performing photon scattering experiments on these crystals at variable temperature and external pressure condititons, including also experiments at large scale research facilities,
• preparing of scientific publications in scientific journals,
• presentations of your research results in talks or posters at scientific conferences and workshops.

There is the possibility of a part-time doctarate. 

Persönliche Qualifikation

• You hold a master degree in Pysics.
• You have a background knowledge in solid state physics.
• Basic knowledge in optical/x-ray spectroscopy and/or high pressure techniques would be an advantage.

Salary

Salary category 13, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
