• Role: Junior Field Application Engineer
• Experience: Entry level (and above)
• Place of work: Gottenheim in Germany, then Bengaluru / Mumbai / Pune in India

Please note: this is NOT an IT / software position

About the role::
•As a Field Application Engineer, you will provide technical support for our machine vision products and optical sensors in various automation industries, including automotive, robotics, pharma and electronics across India.
•A six-month onboarding program in Germany will provide you with the individual coaching necessary to prepare you for this role.
•As the technical backbone of the sales team, you will develop and present innovative solutions using vision systems, AI-based inspection and robotics.
•You will conduct training and product presentations to increase our customers' knowledge of our products and technology.

Desired skills and qualities:
•A bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, e.g. Automation, Robotics, Embedded Systems, etc.
•A passion for machine vision, image processing and automation
•A structured, self-directed work style
•Proficiency in PLC and robotics programming is a plus
•A solution-oriented mindset combined with excellent communication skills
•Willingness to travel nationwide (approximately 60%)
