Use the opportunity to review your application documents with us. We will be happy to help you adapt your cover letter and CV to specific job advertisements. Your application documents can be imcomplete.Feel free to come to the open consultation hour in the service office of the canteen every tuesday or to the online consultation hour on thursdays. Otherwise, you can also send us your application documents to info@careerservice.kit.edu and we will give you written feedback.For a more detailed consultation, book a personal appointment using our appointment booking system .Take a look at our event program ! You can expect trainings, workshops and lectures on various topics like job interview, assessment centers, application in general and much more.
Career coaching
In career coaching you have the opportunity to discuss your basic questions about career orientation or to develop concrete ideas and strategies. We support you with different questioning techniques in structuring thoughts and activating your resources.Your questions could include:
- What career path is right for me?
- How do I find out what I want to work on?
- I have several offers, how should I decide?
- How do I find out what I'm good at and what distinguishes me?

Application check every Tuesday at the Mensa office
We are at your disposal for all questions regarding application documents, job entry and co. in the open office hours in the Mensa office. Always on Tuesdays from 11-13:30 am in the cafeteria building between the elevators to lines 4 and 5! You can come by without prior appointment.
Open online consultation every Thursday
You are currently looking for a job and would like an expert to take a look at your application? Or do you have urgent questions about the application process? During the open online consultation hour, the consultants of the KIT Career Service provide final Tipps] to your application documentn and answer open questions.The consultation hour takes place always on Thursdays from 11 am to 12 pm and is conducted via "ZOOM".An appointment is not required for this short consultation for students and graduates of KIT (5-10 minutes). Just click into the room between 11 and 12 o'clock to see the counsellors.
