Together with you, we want to create something new at KIT.

This year, we will launch an inspiring space where students can explore their own ideas, participate in interdisciplinary project-based courses, and collaborations with industry and society are initiated. Our facilities will include project workspaces, event spaces, and a large workshop equipped with 3D printers, a media lab, a VR/AR lab, and more.

In addition to our physical space (building 10.22), we are also developing a Virtual Space. Here, you can meet, collaborate, and work on your projects with your avatar. Both spaces are designed to encourage active participation, project initiation, collaboration, and hands-on experiences. All ideas are welcome!

What You Can Expect:
• A dynamic environment with a start-up-like working style
• An agile team setup with students from various disciplines

Responsibilities:
Depending on your background and interests you could work in one of the following areas. We will staff multiple students:
1. VR/AR: Set up virtual spaces (unreal, 3D videos, AR machine training, VR onboarding, ....)
2. Makerspace: Set up makerspace areas and develop trainings for students (Metal, 3D-print farm, laser cutter area, ...)
3. Events & Marketing: Manage events, Social Media, promote the new brand, ...
4. Space operations: Define how we run the building smoothly (define services, user journeys, offer packages, processes, ...)
5. Course support: Take responsibility for hosting of the "Student Innovation Lab" course at KIT nova

What We're Looking For:
• You take ownership of specific topics and reliably and independently bring them forward
• You are a team player who is open to flexibly jump on tasks
• Students from all disciplines, who can commit until the end of the year

Details:
• Workload: 40 – 80 hours per month
• Workplace: Until the new building opens, you'll work at Geb 10.91. From July onwards, you'll be in our new building, 10.22. Home office is possible
• Duration: From now until the end of the year
