Student assistant Automotive UI/UX Prototyping

Entry from the 20.08.2025
Position number 119404
Job vacancy: From now on

Description

As part of the publicly funded “Country-to-City Bridge” (C2CBridge) project, the Institute of Vehicle Technology at the KIT is working on the conversion of two electric production vehicles to enable autonomous driving capabilities. These vehicles will undergo modifications to achieve Level IV autonomous driving for operation in public spaces. In this context, we are actively developing and implementing cutting edge health monitoring concepts into this new mobility system. Here, we seek your support to contribute to the diverse range of tasks associated with the project.

Our objective is to deliver an immersive and intuitive in-cabin user experience. To this end, we are developing a visually compelling and functional Human-Machine Interface (HMI) for tablet displays. The HMI is used to convey information and control various functions in a user-friendly and barrier-free manner. It is built upon a dynamic framework that is continuously refined and updated to meet evolving stakeholder requirements.

You will actively contribute to creating a functional and visually appealing prototype on tablets by implementing new features, adapting designs, and testing user interactions.
