Description

What you'll do at Daedalus:
Build and ship application features for the tech stack that runs our factory of the future. This includes but is not limited to production scheduling, workflow management software, integration with CNC machines, etc.
Own features end to end, with a focus on either frontend or backend but willing to jump in to fill in the other pieces where needed as we're emphasizing a holistic approach to software development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions with CNC machines
Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of the software products
Work closely with our product team to develop user stories and drive the conversation around what are the best opportunities to add business value

Who you are:
2+ years of experience working with modern frontend and backend technologies
Proven experience in shipping (parts of) real software products, preferably complex enterprise SaaS web applications
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively
Eagerness to develop generalist skills in addition to deepening expertise in frontend and backend technologies
You have experience in using modern technologies to build applications. At Daedalus, we use Python, Django, React.JS, TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, and Bazel. However, you don't need to have experience using exactly this stack already; what we look for is someone who can learn new tools quickly and can pick the best tool for the task at hand
