Profile of the Leadership Talent Academy

The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) offers its students and doctoral candidates a research-based education at the highest scientific level. In order for them to gain the necessary skills as tomorrow's leaders and to fully utilise their professional and personal potential for the benefit of our society, personality development is offered as an additional tool beyond the specialist curricula.For this reason, the Leadership Talent Academy was launched in 2020 and can already look back on five successful programmes.
The Leadership Talent Academy modules are aimed at value-orientated personal development in order to prepare the 25 participants well for future leadership responsibilities. The seminars and workshops offer the opportunity for self-reflection and also provide the opportunity for exchange and networking within the group and the alumni network.
The Leadership Talent Academy is open to KIT Master's students and doctoral candidates from the fields of engineering and natural sciences who are about to make the transition to professional life..Ideally, participants will have already dealt with the topic of ‘good leadership’ once at the start of the programme and will be interested in developing their personal skills as part of the modules on offer.
