For our Bruker AXS location in Karlsruhe, we are looking for Application Developer (m/f/d) XRF. 
X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometry (XRF) is a quantitative and versatile analytical method to determine the elemental composition of materials. XRF is an important part of the business unit Elemental Analysis at BRUKER AXS. Your task includes participation in the entire development process of new XRF applications, methods, and devices covering the analytical system performance.
Responsibilities:
Develop analytical methods for the elemental analysis with XRF from the perspective of market requirements
Determine analytical limits and suggest improvements to software and hardware to improve the analytical performance
Collaborate with hardware and software development teams
Execute quality analyses for product improvement
Verify XRF software and hardware from an application point of view
Create installation instructions and user manuals
Support application team, service, and production (back-office support)
Qualifications:
Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science or similar
Very good experience with XRF analysis
Programming experience in C# or C++
Personal strengths including flexibility, effective communication and team-work skills
Result oriented approach and drive
Very good communication skills in English, German would be a benefit
